DERMAL FILLER

Dermal Fillers also known as “wrinkle fillers” are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases, or enhance facial contours.

WHAT CAN IT DO FOR YOU

As the skin ages, it gradually loses some of its collagen and fat preserves, leading it looking wrinkled and saggy. Dermal fillers are derived from a substance that occurs naturally in our bodies and has been used for more than 40 years. The natural substance, Hyaluronic Acid binds with the water in our skins to plump out wrinkles for a volumised, well contoured, youthful appearance. Facial fillers may be used in combination with Botulinum Toxin. This is also commonly referred to as the ‘Liquid Face Lift’.

HOW DOES IT WORK

Dermal Fillers are injected using a fine needle or cannula inserted at several points along the edge of the area being treated. The treatment takes less than fifteen to forty-five minutes. An anaesthetic ointment may be applied prior to your treatment. Any swelling or bruising incurred will heal after only a few days. The results are temporary, lasting 6 to 12 months or longer before the body gradually and naturally absorbs the particles.

Dermal fillers do more than just smooth out lines—they restore confidence. With a quick and minimally invasive procedure, you can achieve a revitalised appearance that helps to bring out your natural beauty. Depending on the type of filler used and the area to be treated, the effect will be plumping-out of the skin, providing you a firmer more youthful look. Dermal filler is used to enhance lips, for natural volume and smooths wrinkles around the mouth and the frown area. Immediate results can be seen. These are safe and reliable products.
